Uva Merlot
When O Boticário asked us to create a visual campaign for the new Uva Merlot line, our goal was clear: capture the essence of this ingredient through rich textures, intense colors, and an art direction that feels as indulgent as the scent itself. Inspired by the elegance of Merlot grapes, we crafted imagery that mirrors the line’s sensorial experience: deep, velvety, and full of life.
Behind the scenes worth highlighting: to bring the Uva Merlot campaign to life, we had 3 to 4 artists working simultaneously to capture every detail with precision. We used special techniques to make the oil behave like water, focusing on the fluidity and density of the texture. The rich, deep purple tone required extra care, especially because the product had a dark, highly reflective surface, bringing unique lighting and image capture challenges.
Since Merlot grapes are only at their best during a specific time of year, we had to go the extra mile to track down the right vineyards and find the perfect fruit. Every detail, from the choice of grape to the final composition, was carefully considered to translate the essence of the Uva Merlot line with authenticity and beauty.
