O texto não só revela as prisões que criamos sem perceber, mas também aquelas que escolhemos ignorar, por insegurança ou medo de nos reavaliarmos e nos confrontarmos com nossas próprias sombras.

Desde que Tai dividiu comigo o primeiro esboço de ideia, a primeira fagulha, dava pra entender a potência do texto e a delicadeza que o registro fotográfico precisaria ter pra caminhar em conjunto com a obra. no final, o registro foi um momento de leveza, de troca artística e que permitiu que o material chegasse na ilha de edição com milhares de caminhos possíveis. acho que trilhamos o mais bonito deles.

From the moment Tai shared the first sketch of the idea with me—the first spark—it was clear how powerful the text was and how delicate the photographic record would need to be to walk in harmony with the piece. In the end, the shoot became a moment of lightness, an artistic exchange that allowed the material to reach the editing room with countless possible paths. I believe we followed the most beautiful one.
