Quando eu e Gabriel rodamos a foto da capa do disco e as fotos promocionais na garagem da casa dele, levei comigo uma câmera que não usava há muito tempo. Era uma Lomokino. Dá pra tu conhecer melhor sobre ela na postagem que disponibilizei aqui no Behance. As imagens que rodamos com ela ficaram orbitando na memória até que o Gabriel, recordando daquele visual, me sugeriu que rodássemos um visualizer para Encontro do não e o sim e Toda Canção tendo aquela linguagem como fio condutor.
Dito e feito, organizamos as ideias, nos reorganizamos no mesmo grupo que rodou o primeiro clipe de Fogos, com os queridos Isadora Boschirolli e Alexandre Rozemberg, e em um dia na casa dele, em pouco mais de 5 horas, tínhamos todo o material rodado.
O clipe, uma dupla de música lançada juntas, é uma linha narrativa interminável. Não tem começo, não tem fim. Tem um portal, um embarque em determinado momento, em algum dos elos das fotografias, que optamos por passear da Lomokino, até a Sony, até duas cybershots antigas do próprio Gabriel. Numa tarefa meio metalinguística, meio psicodélica, o clipe fala de si mas fala também da gente gravando, dessa parceria, das sutilezas da letra e do amor.

When Gabriel and I shot the album cover and promotional photos in his garage, I brought along a camera I hadn’t used in ages. A Lomokino. You can learn more about it in the post I shared on Behance. The footage we captured with it lingered in our minds until one day, Gabriel, recalling that aesthetic, suggested we create a visualizer for Encontro do não e o sim and Toda Canção, using that same visual language as our guiding thread.
Said and done—we gathered our ideas, reassembled the same crew behind the first video, Fogos, with our dear friends Isadora Boschirolli and Alexandre Rozemberg, and in just over five hours at his place, we had everything filmed.
The video, a pair of songs released together, forms an endless narrative thread. No beginning, no end. There’s a portal, a moment of entry, somewhere in the chain of images, as we drift from the Lomokino to a Sony, and then to two old Cybershots that belonged to Gabriel himself. In a task that’s part meta, part psychedelic, the clip speaks of itself while also speaking of us—of the filming process, of this collaboration, of the delicate lyrics and of love.
